STATEMENT
Its NOT who i am,but what i do that defines ME....
Passion finds me in drawing and it is always connected to the need to capture, to analyze or represent images and to create representational drawings/paintings, majorly focusing on figures, people, faces, places, captured human moods/emotions to convey different messages through fine art.I take something ordinary and infuse it with emotion,color,skill and meaning.
Portraiture art is my interest too because I feel every face, life or person is significantly unique. Life is full of beautiful moments, memories, possibilities and even changes and my drawings/paintings, sometimes mostly portraits or figurative are renditions of selected subjects in relating stories and life in a different atmosphere, background and style that speaks of their indigenous worth,beauty and importance.
Some of my works focuses on communicating about and in bringing out the joy or pride we often neglect in people, things, places and moments that we do not take time to enjoy, to cherish and to admire in their naturalness. Beauty exists in everything and everywhere in Life if we look closely enough. I work majorly in oil, pastel and my all time medium, pencil/charcoal, depending on what subject catches my interest as I create them.

I believe that Art is embedded in every forms of life and my artworks are made in bringing to our notice the beauty of life through my Paintings and Drawings.
I lived in Lagos, moved to Chicago in 2015 and now presently based in Dallas,a visual artist with keen interest on creating artworks of portraiture and various representational paintings/drawings in oil,pastel, charcoal, pencil,watercolor and mixed media forms.
Born in Maiduguri, Borno state, Nigeria, and of Delta state origin, Moses was an apprentice/assistant in an art studio (1997)in his secondary school education days and also attended ArtLink Institute (1998). He did his formal art training in Yaba College of Technology, Lagos Nigeria where he obtained OND in General/Fine Art.(2010 - 2012)
This is Marquiskreationz, which I started since 2008,using it to offer out my creative talent/works and offering artistic services. MK is purely a fine art studio, which I run from home. I paint, draw, illustrate, design, accept portraiture commissions (Pencil/Oil/Pastel/Charcoal mediums) and framing services too.
Being trained in an art school back in Laogs, Nigeria, and currently still in training in my artistic career, I seek to engage my audience with my fine art aesthetically, to inform, educate or enlighten, narrate stories and for purely beautification/decoration of living spaces, office spaces, events and for memorial/monumental purposes.
